Shekar Narasimhan is CEO of Beekman Helix India Partners. In this capacity, he is responsible for the overall performance of the company and manages its investor relationships. Shekar is also co-Founder and Managing Partner at Beekman Advisors which provides strategic advisory and investment banking services to real estate and financial services companies in the United States.
He is formerly Managing Director of the Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, one of the nation's leading providers of commercial mortgage financing. There he headed Prudential Real Estate Fixed Income Investors, a fund manager and oversaw the agency business consisting of Fannie Mae and FHA multifamily lending. Immediately prior to Shekar's time at Prudential, he was Chairman & CEO of the WMF Group, a publicly traded, commercial mortgage financial services company. WMF was one of the largest such firms in the country before being acquired by Prudential in 2000.
Shekar is Secretary of the National Housing Conference, on the boards of the Community Preservation Development Corp. and Low Income Investment Fund and on the Executive Committee of the National Multi Housing Council. He was appointed a Fellow at the Joint Center for Housing Studies at Harvard University and to the Advisory Board of Housing Development Reporter. Shekar has served several terms on the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBA) Board of Directors, was the first Chair of the MBA's Commercial/Multifamily Board of Governors and founding Chair of the Campaign for Affordable Housing.
Shekar is a frequent panel member and speaker on commercial real estate and multifamily issues, affordable housing, technology and mortgage banking. He has received numerous awards and recognition in the real estate industry including the Mortgage Banker Association's highest honor in 1999 and the Fannie Mae Lifetime Achievement Award in 2003. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India and an MBA from the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has earned the designation of Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB).

Manish Parwani is President and Chief Operating Officer of Beekman Helix India Partners, a real estate advisory and strategic consulting firm. In this capacity he is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the company and supervises its investment functions. Manish is also a founder and Managing Partner of Helix Financial Group LLC. Manish was formerly a Principal in the CMBS Finance group of Banc of America Securities LLC, where he was responsible for all fixed rate securitization. His responsibilities included pricing all originations, running executions and placement of the first loss and non investment grade bond.
Manish spent 2 years at Key Bank where he held the position of Vice President - Securitization and Trading and was involved in developing the CMBS / Real Estate capital markets group within Key Bank. He was responsible for pricing, bond trading and securitization.
Manish has also worked in India with companies like HCL-Hewlett Packard and UB Group (one of India's top 10 Corporations). Ajay Takru is Vice President-Projects at Beekman Helix India. In this capacity he is responsible for managing operations of project sites on behalf BHI and its development clients. Ajay is a Real Estate development professional with 34 yrs of varied experience. Ajay has worked with military engineering service for 20 yrs planning, designing and executing varied projects. For the last 14 yrs he has been actively involved in planning, coordinating and execution of hotels, villas, schools, multi storied condominiums and IT Parks. He also worked with Unitech, one of biggest real estate developers in India, for their Radisson hotel projects in Delhi and Varanasi. In his previous appointments, he was Senior General Manager with Parkview Apartments Pvt Ltd, the real estate arm of Jaipuria Group, the largest bottlers for Pepsi. In this appointment he was directly responsible for the development of four million square feet of multi storied luxury condominiums and 1.2 million square feet of IT space.

He also maintains the role of Corporate Secretary for the company.
Kannan was formerly President – Finance & Corporate Affairs of Narsi Value Creations Limited, the Real Estate Development Company in India doing various projects on integrated township, hospitality, IT Parks, Cinema Halls, and Shopping Malls/Office Complex. He was responsible for all commercial activities for sale/lease of commercial project, liaisoning with Company's legal counsels & company auditors for finalization of collaboration agreements and all accounting functions including finalization of annual accounts. Kannan was also involved directly with different agencies for project financing for a Hi-Tech city project in Agra, township projects in Karnal, Agra and Jaipur and restructuring of existing loan facilities and raising project / construction finance for hotel and commercial projects of Narsi Group in Gurgaon. In the capacity of a President, Kannan was also responsible for the Finance and Corporate Affairs of other 15 group companies of Narsi Group.
Prior to Narsi Group, he worked for 10 years with DLF Universal Limited, India's leading real estate company as Vice President – Corporate Affairs, where he was responsible for evaluating new projects, its financial viability and legal and financial due diligence, arranging bank/institutional finance for new projects, acquisitions of predominant land owning companies, finalization of development agreements and joint ventures, lease documentation of nearly 4 million sq. feet of commercial space, company secretarial work of 8 group companies and liaisoning with legal counsels, advocates, statutory auditors and other consultants. Sanjeev Bedi is Executive Director, Assets with BHIC. In this capacity, he is responsible for the asset management function overseeing all the company's debt and equity investments on behalf of itself and third-party investors. He is also responsible for the development management function related to BHI's developer clients. Sanjeev has a comprehensive experience of about 20 years in real estate development construction management and architecture.
Sanjeev worked with Om Construction Group Inc. as President to handle overall business development, marketing, finance & construction management services divisions. He executed projects over USD 80 Million in the last 10 years with the organization. With Dime Savings Bank of NY, he was positioned as Manager of Construction Financing. In this role, he was responsible for managing the construction loan program within the mortgage banking division of the organization. His primary responsibilities were to direct all construction lending activities in all areas including affordable housing for the residential arm in the banks mortgage division, throughout various states of U.S.A. He also worked with Neighborhood Housing Services of NYC for about 4 years as Director of Construction Services. There, he was responsible for directing all financing, development and construction activities of all affordable hosing projects comprising of residential commercial and mixed used buildings for the corporations 7 company offices. With this organization, Sanjeev managed over 100 construction projects worth USD 50 million. He was also associated with PICCED as Asst. Project Manager and worked with a team of architects and construction professionals on restoration of affordable commercial / residential projects in urban neighborhood of New York City.

Sanjay worked with Unitech Ltd, one of India‘s leading real estate developer, for more than 14 yrs where he was involved in various capacities in the planning / monitoring / construction of a 300 and 132 acre integrated townships, consisting of Multi family apartments, commercial complexes, Villas, row houses etc in Gurgaon, commercial complexes in Goa and Nagpur, theme parks cum retail complexes in Delhi and Noida of 62 and 150 acres respectively. He was also in charge of all the Govt approvals for the group for over two years. The theme park business was a new business vertical initiated by him for the group. He holds the distinction of being the youngest person in the company's history at various posts.
Sanjay also worked as General Manager/Senior General Manager for DLF Ltd, the largest real estate developer in India. In this role, he was responsible for construction of 5 malls, one Office building for American Express and one IT park at Noida. The total area under his supervision was more then 5 million square feet. Simultaneously he was also in charge of planning and government approvals for a Mega mall of over 2.2 million square feet. He also worked with Reliance ADAG one of the largest Corporate of India as Vice President in Charge of all the Real Estate implementation of the Group.

Vivek Seth, Vice President-BHIC, is charged with both underwriting and asset management responsibilities for BHI's investments. During his career span of 14 years, Vivek worked with real estate brands such as Sewa Group, DLF Universal Ltd., Sahara Mall & Sahara Grace in India. He was responsible for the leasing and marketing of all malls and corporate buildings owned and managed by the Sewa Group. He managed the successful leasing of Paradise Mall, Rajouri Garden, and also handled the leasing of Corporate Park at M.G.Road, NH-8 and Qutab Institutional Area. He conducted various surveys and evaluated the financial viability of projects in India. He was also responsible for land acquisition and government bids. He successfully acquired 1400 acres of land in Mumbai and 100 acres in Pune (Hinjewadi). With DLF Universal, Vivek undertook the responsibility of selling and renting of malls across India. He successfully marketed the DLF Promenade at Vasant Kunj (85% leasing done within 3 Months), DLF Courtyard Saket & Cyber Greens at Gurgaon. He also oversaw market share analysis, marketing research and business strategy plan. Vivek successfully played the role of marketing head of Sahara Mall and Sahara Grace, a residential project. He spent the early part of his career at M/S V.R. Industries managing marketing of their manufactured products.
