Ashwani Awasthi is a Chief Administrative Officer of Beekman Helix India Consulting Pvt. Ltd. and focuses on day to day functioning, implementation, compliance and administrative matters of the company. He has over 18 years of progressive experience in overall administration, facilities management, lease administration, infrastructure and project management.

Prior to joining Beekman Helix India, Ashwani was Chief Operating Officer with Helix Financial India and was responsible for overall strategy of the offshore operations, implementation, compliance and administrative matters of the company. Ashwani was the first employee hired at Helix Financial to help set up its operations in India.

He helped the company grow from a start-up to a 200 employee strong organization and worked to establish it as one of the leading professional services firm in the real estate capital markets arena.  Before joining Helix Financial, Ashwani was a senior manager with the Corporate Property Services division of Jones Lang LaSalle (India) and a key member of the team responsible for setting up one of the largest US BPO firms at multiple locations in India. The team successfully set up a 3000 seat, a 2000 seat and an 1800 seat BPO facility in the three major cities in India. The main responsibilities were: site identification, lease negotiation and management, project management to include managing the tenant improvement work along with setting up of IT infrastructure, logistics management, facility management and asset management.

Previously Ashwani also worked as a manager with Berger Paints (India) Limited in their real estate and property management division where he was mainly responsible for lease negotiation and management, infrastructure, projects, logistics, asset and facility management. Ashwani started his carrier with Indian Army and served as a ‘captain’ in the Army where his responsibilities included, personnel management, logistics management, transport management, inventory management, operations management, training, liaison and general administration. 

Ashwani received a Bachelors degree in Economics from HP University and is a Post Graduate in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from Punjab University.
